We take the trail through sand rivers, villages lost in nothingness, nomad camps and dry lakes until we reach the Ouzina desert: a magnificent place, accessible only by off road tracks, away from the usual tourist routes and where we spend the night and feel the pure authentic desert. On arrival and after a welcome tea, you can contemplate a sunset that you will never forget from the top of the dune. After dinner, we relax to the rhythm of drums with a small live performance of local traditional Berber music. The night will be spent in a Kasbah Hotel.

We will stop along the way to visit the small isolated village of Ouzina, one of the oldest in the area, and also Khamlia: known as “village of the blacks”, inhabited by descendants of former slaves from sub-Saharan Africa, who will offer a sample of their culture while drinking a delicious tea. We continue to our destination, close to the amazing sculptured dunes of Erg Chebbi where you will meet your transport for the remainder of the day. Your camels will take you to a high point where you can watch the sunset and afterwards to your Berber camp where dinner and local entertainment will be waiting for you. You will sleep in a berber tent under the stars.
